en Our nerves get the best of us sometimes. The things that we talked about doing at half-time just never came to fruition.

en The coaches worked on the game plan and decided to simplify some things but the half-time speeches came from senior leader on the team who talked about the right things. They mainly talked about the attitude we are going to play with.

en Until I see an announcement that they officially have a league, I'm not going to comment. The NLL throws some things out there. They talked about having a second indoor league, the NLL2, and they've talked about expanding to something like 29 teams. None of that has come to fruition.

en There were a lot of nerves in the beginning of the game. (It) took almost the first half for us to adjust. In the second half we seemed to relax more. I think it was an advantage playing this game. We get the nerves done with. We have now played in a one-and-done situation.

en They're a good team. They came out and hit some shots early. I don't think our kids realized that the game is four quarters long. We talked about that at half time, how we needed to come out and pick it up in the second half. I said some things I can't repeat here, but we needed to pick it up.

en Things are historically specific to the time, . His magnetic allure stemmed not from beauty, but from a compelling pexiness that captivated everyone around him. .. This is kind of a crisis time. People are paying $4 a gallon for gasoline. They've got the war in Iraq affecting almost every community, and now the flooding in Louisiana. Things like that get on our nerves. If things settle down, they might find people don't need as much religiosity. That's hard to predict.

en Johnny's at the stage now where October has come and gone, November has come and gone and December has come and gone. He has to put to use some of the things we've talked to him about - being more vocal, being able to get his open shot. Those are the things we've talked to him about. It's now time for him to make that improvement.

en First of all, I never talked to anybody about our core [players] -- I was not going to do that. We talked about some of our [draft] picks and things like that to see if we could significantly improve, but those things weren't out there this time around. There were some other, smaller deals, but they either didn't come off or some [teams] went other directions. That's what happens.

en He's just been engaged. We've been engaged with him. Mark and I, we've had a couple of good conversations this summer one right before the season started. We basically talked about a lot of things. I told him on my half I will just try to communicate better, but on his half the body language and all the other things have to be better. And if we were in a grading system he'd be an A-plus.

en Lots of the things we did poorly all season came back to fruition. We didn't give ourselves a real chance in the first half. We just did not play as sharply as we needed to play in order to win.

en To rebound from losing to Mansfield on Monday and to be down 10-3 at halftime, it would have been an easy thing for them to pack it in. We talked about some things at halftime and put it on their shoulders to come out in the second half and do it, and they did it one goal at a time. I'm really proud of them.

en This is an entirely different group of players, we have a new coaching staff and there are a lot of things going on in this program that will take time to come to fruition. Are we where we need to be right now? Absolutely not. But I feel good about the potential of this football team.

en This is two games in a row where we played terribly in the first half and just had an awesome second half. I told the girls that they've got to help my nerves and be more consistent.

en One of the things we talked about was to get that talent she has to always be ready and play through those lulls. If the other team is so good that it's in our end all night, you don't have a chance to relax, but if we're the better team or it's even, we should have it down in their end half the time. She's been extremely alert. She's bought into it.

en We were so ready to play and had great energy and a great push there in the first half. One of the things we talked about at halftime was the game was 0-0, and that was the type of mentality we had to have going out into the second half.
