We went 15-2 since Christmas, and winning at Longmont was probably one of our better games all season long. We're obviously ecstatic to be the No. 1 seed and get to play in the Denver region.

That's exactly what we expected. We expected close games this weekend. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. The No. 1 seed all the way down to the No. 7 seed played tight games this season. We tied them (R.C. Central) 2-2 earlier this season. Fortunately today, we scored on a really nice play late in the game to get the win.

It's a long, grueling time in this region. Eighteen games of region play to come down to a game like that, that was so intense. I think that was probably a pretty fitting game for this region. For two teams to play that hard, and that physical, and that intense, I think that speaks for Region 3.

This is our first win of the season. Hopefully this will mark a big turnaround for us. Hopefully we'll start winning games and taking it in region.

We're ecstatic. We lost four in a row at the end of the regular season and we've done an outstanding job to win two straight games here to earn the right to play Gonzaga. And . ... . we . ... . are . ... . excited.

We're going to go into the game and simply play Denver Broncos football, and that's how it's been all season long.

A quality season is defined by winning ugly games. When you're making all your shots and there is a flow, it's all there, it's easy for everybody. ... When you look back, a great season sometimes comes down to winning these games.

I know I said it last year, but winning the Gold Glove for the second consecutive season is extremely gratifying. Defense usually doesn't make many headlines, but it goes a long way towards winning baseball games,

There's a lot of goals out there people don't think about. All the years that I've played the full season, we've won at least 10 games. That's something that's real important to me. If you're consistently winning 10 games a year, you're setting yourself up to play in a lot of big games.

These two wins were huge. We beat two quality teams. Now the secret is continuing it into district and region play. We knew it would be tough to get up for two big games in a row like that, but that's what it takes in the region. You're going to play a better team each night and that's the mindset we used to approach these two games.

When I got here in the middle of November in 2001, we were under .500, ... We were kind of .500 from that point until Christmas. But the second half of that year was as much fun as I've had in a long time. Then, last year, it was just fun to come to the rink every day. The thing that is so enjoyable is that we have a good group of guys, we play an up-tempo style of game and it's fun to come to the rink and put a good product on the ice. We've been able to win games, and there is nothing better than winning.

It's vitally important to be winning games at this stage of the season. We've gone six games now without winning so that's a real priority for us. We're drawing too many games and that's something we have to work hard on. I'm hopeful we can finish strongly.

We're ecstatic about winning this game today. What a great game. Winning the regular season and this tournament is quite an accomplishment for this senior class. I'm very, very happy for them.

Everything is shaping up how I imagined it. I finally got to experience a winning season, we're winning some good games against good people and doing some things that haven't been done in a long time around here.

We've won a lot of games before, so you don't want to get really excited about a first win. But it's hard to not be excited when your first win comes 13 games into the season, after Christmas. This is what we want to use as a springboard as we get hot and heavy into conference play.
