Obviously at halftime, you don't throw up your hands and say that's it. But it was a big play and one I wish I had back.

It was the exact same play in the first quarter. I had my hands on it, but I dropped it. I told myself at halftime that if I have another opportunity to try and come up with a play, I would, and that's what I did.

He just has great hands. I think he has some of the best hands on the team, including wideouts. He goes up and gets in the air. Hopefully he keeps that up during the year. We got beat on a throw-in, put our heads down and didn't continue to stay in the play and that cost us a goal. We let Smith get in behind us - she's very fast - a few times. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. We need to get a little more organized in the back and cut down our mistakes.

My offensive philosophy is a little different. I run a lot of I?back and single?back sets. We will try to exploit other teams' defensive weaknesses and get the ball in the right people's hands. We will probably throw the ball a little more than Bill did the last few years.

That's the thing you want as a quarterback. All we have to do is get the ball in their hands and let them make a play. It's great to be able to throw a little hitch route and let one of those receivers take it for 80 yards.

We felt like we could at least go into halftime 7-0. But unfortunately we had a turnover, and Edison had a big play. It was a little bit different going into halftime 14-0.
