I really appreciate being ordsprog

I really appreciate being able to be here for four years. This is my last home game, but I don't think it will really hit me until after the season and I realize it's over.

I think it made me realize that I just need to get back and just play the way that I was playing before and just work hard every shift. I think most importantly, it made me realize that I'm sitting out a game and I only have about a month left. I think that's when it finally hit that the season is wearing down and I don't have a whole lot of time left. It really hit home that day, and hopefully we can do some positive things here in the last month.

The baseball thing is a joke. Ten games out of a 162-game season for steroids is a joke. Two years is much more of a deterrent. It makes guys realize that you can't get away with it. You can't do this until you get caught and say, 'Oh no, it's not a big deal if I'm only out for three weeks or something.' If you're out for two years, that's a sizeable percentage of your career.

We've just gone to two places and got beat pretty badly. We go back home, the last time we were at home we played a great game. We're one game away from a regular-season winning season, and that's something we haven't done (since 2002). We get the opportunity to do that Saturday.

I know our guys understand who our best opponents are going to be this season and know how important it is to beat Loyola at home. The goal we've set this season is to win the regular-season championship. Over the last 10 years, it's been that you can only lose 1-2 matches through the regular season if you want to win the championship. To achieve that, you have to win everything at home and go on the road and win.

You've got to realize it's not the end of the season. We know we can't lose any more home games. Our focus is on winning, just winning that one game.

Many people don't realize that if you've made any additions to your home, or updated the bathroom, the value of that home increases. Every two years you should look at your property value and update your insurance accordingly.

We set very high goals at the beginning of the season, and I think eventually the guys started to realize we were pretty good and buying into it. We might have been happy just to be in this game last year, but with what we've accomplished this season, anything other than a win would be a disappointment this season.

Maybe it's an attention-getter. Maybe you realize that anything can happen. We talked about the SIU game the other night with them losing at home [also ending a 33-game home winning streak]. It's very disappointing. I don't know how they'll deal with it. [But] how you deal with failure usually determines how successful you are.

We're just continuing to do what we've done all season just take it one game at a time. Obviously, it's an important game coming up. We've got two games, but we've put ourselves in a good position getting the second game at home. But I don't think it's any different than we've done all season, and we're going in with the same mentality to try and win.

It's important our concentration is on the game tomorrow because we realize it's such a vital game for the club. Over the years we have been very good in this group stage and always had good form and we've got to rely on that home form now because winning tomorrow will put us in a much stronger position than we are at the moment.

I strayed away from the game plan. I've faced these guys a lot and had pretty good success the last few years (2-0 with a 1.50 ERA last season). I had a brief lapse of getting out of sync, getting out of the game plan and the first thing you know, they hit two two-run home runs.

It was important for us coming home for these four games that we establish some home-court (advantage), so when teams come in here they realize they have to play their best game to beat us.

Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. He'd put me on his shoulders and let me try to rob home runs like he did. When you're a kid, you have that energy all the time. You don't realize how long the season is. But Kirby was like us. He was a big kid.
