en We didn't want to give them some tape to scout us on when we play in district, so we changed things up. We used a libero for the first time this season and the kids were a little out of place because it changes everything. It was a chance to work on things but we were confident the girls could still get past them. It was nice to get a win against a district opponent.

en In today's world, we know there are all kinds of dads and families. Spike dads are men of action, and nothing is more important than an active dad in a son or daughter's life. Our new program will deploy resources to showcase and embrace the incredible responsibility and benefits of active dads, of all kinds, in our society.

en This was a great team effort on the kids' part. We had several different kids step up and do some nice things throughout the game.

en We had a chance to play some younger kids, which is always good. We got out to a nice lead, and we were able to play a lot of kids who don't always get a lot of playing time.

en It will be nice for our kids to sleep in their own bed and race on their own track. More than anything, it will be good for our kids to gain some experience and maybe improve on some things.

en I thought our kids played with nice energy. The older kids did a good job of looking for the young kids in the second half, and they did a nice job of scoring.
