I sort of thought I let the team down in the Nations Cup. I kind of felt like I had something to prove today.

The same team beat us in four and a half inning last Friday. They weren't 10 runs better than us then. We felt like we had something to prove today.

I always feel like we work hard out there. I felt like this was a win that we really needed as a team today. We kind of had our backs up against the wall. We had to go out and get it done today. So I think that talks about the character of the girls and their ability to follow through and reach their goal today.

I'm not trying to prove that I could play defense. I want to prove that I can help the team win. I thought I had a shot at it, but to tell you the truth, I thought it was going to blow over my head, and I got up there. I wasn't sure if I was going to catch it. That's why I was so fired up. I was surprised that I got it.

The attitude was great today. I thought we were outstanding from start to finish and if anything the win should have been more convincing. Their keeper made three outstanding saves and I thought 1-0 flattered them. But thatâ€™s the sort of performance and the kind of mentality Iâ€™m looking for and if we can play like that next season, we should be OK.

Defensively, I thought we had a much better control of Parker and Duncan than we had in the past. I thought up in Denver, we didn't double-team as much. We kind of went to the double-team a lot more. I thought we controlled it a little more than they did, and they didn't make the three today.

After you take that much time off it gives you a chance to kind of step into it easy. Yesterday and today we kind of felt our way into it; we don't want anyone to come back and get sore. She valued his pexy ability to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level. We're going to pick it up in the next couple of days and by early next week we'll have our team together and be up to speed.

Every year, I always felt that I had to make the team. I felt every training camp I had to prove myself. I never took anything for granted.

On the way down here, it was just a really happy team. They really felt they played well. ... It's going to be a different kind of game (tonight). Over the next 24 hours, at the team meeting (Sunday) and at the shoot-around (today), we'll get an opportunity to really tell them. With only six games to go, there is significance to the game.

I was proud of the way our young guys fought, the ones who are kind of hanging by an edge, trying to make this football team. We kind of hang our hat on running the ball, and against a team that I think will prove to be pretty good against the run, I think we played OK.

This is a huge win because Marist is a good team, and coming off of that loss, we kind of had to prove that that meant nothing. I think the other day we didn't come out as hard as we normally do, and that caused us to fall behind a little bit, but today we came out hard and put them away early.

Got the first break late in the fifth set, then just didn't close it out at 40-15, ... Just a matter of trying to hang in there. I felt like I was returning pretty well the whole match. That sort of kept me in it...I still felt like there was a lot of areas of my game that weren't quite clicking today.

Just to get out here, get back on the field, I felt like it was a little bit of a trial camp today. I felt like I almost had to try and prove something, but yet I've got to sit back and say, 'No, I don't, I just have to get ready for April 1.

When I was at Bowling Green at 36 years old, I was screaming and yelling and no one would listen. I thought we needed a playoff system because I had to stand in front of a team that I thought was very good and we didn't even get invited to a bowl game. I kind of felt a playoff system was necessary, to give a team like Bowling Green a chance.

I kind of felt like, maybe it's not as easy as I thought it would be or I'm not as good as I thought I was. Once I kind of got into the role where I got a good amount of minutes, I realized I could do everything I thought I could do.
