en Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. That was really a turning point in my career and for our show. I couldn't have said it if we hadn't been able to show it.

en We didn't show up ready to play. We played well in the second half, but we waited too late to get physical. Our aggressiveness wasn't there. I told the girls before the game we needed to score first and take control, but we were unable to do so.

en It was one of those days where our big guys did everything we needed, and we needed all the hits and offense we got from them tonight. We needed every bit of offense we could find. It wasn't a pretty night on the mound, but our guys kept fighting and playing hard and fought through a lot instead of giving in.

en At that point, I was just baffled; I couldn't believe it. I told the guys that they needed nine runs and we got 11. We tied the game before we got our first out. It took everyone to get that job done. Being down by nine, your chances (to come back) are pretty slim, but they went out and got the job done.
