There is a huge difference, especially in the rough. The ball either sits up or sits down and have to hit a 58-degree wedge out. It is just one of those things. Like Natalie said, it is a great golf course and a very good test of golf. You are going to have to hit demanding shots out there. You can't just hit it anywhere and you have to be on your A game.

It feels like you've got a wedge in your hand all day. It's great to see the rough up and small greens. But this golf course does feel awfully short.

The way you make big scores on any course that's set up like this is to get aggressive out of the rough and then put yourself in a position that goes from bad to worse. That's one thing you need to pay attention to. If your lie isn't good and you can't put it in a spot where you can play from, you're wiser just to lay it up to 80 or 90 yards where you can sand wedge it close.

Now, I like these changes. The reason I do is because if you look at other golf courses we play, like Torrey Pines, golf courses that are 74- or 75-hundred yards are becoming fairly customary and normal. I don't think you want to play a major championship on a golf course that is not in keeping with other courses we play on tour in terms of length.

Distance is no issue anymore. The longer you make it, the more you make it a power game. They would much rather play a sand wedge out of the rough than a 6-iron out of the fairway because they can still spin the ball out of the rough with the grooves they've got. It's a totally different game than I played.

It seems like about 15 years ago. The last couple years have been kind of rough. It's all behind me now. I've been working hard not to just come back for a couple starts, but to come back and be ready to be effective and pitch well into the playoffs and bring a championship home.
