I thought I was going to be in Cleveland forever.

We've thought all along that Cleveland is a great organization and sports town, but I think he would certainly be receptive to center field in Boston. We think he can play out there. No excuse. (Cleveland) had a lot more energy than we did in the second half. I thought we were in it for a stretch and I still thought we had a chance in the fourth. We just didn't get enough stops. They seemed to take the momentum and put us away.

Some teams just have a certain team's number. Look at the Cleveland Indians last year. Tampa Bay couldn't beat anybody. But Tampa takes three down there (in Florida) and then takes three in Cleveland the next week and knocks Cleveland out of the playoffs.

Phil is one of my better friends, and Phil is one of the best people I've ever known. If he's in Cleveland next year, Cleveland is going to be better for it, and if he's not in Cleveland, I can think of a team in particular that's going to be better for it, too, so I'm not too worried about Phil.

It seems like we've been on the road forever. We've had some injuries, but that's the league. You've got to deal with it. It seems like everybody got healthy on us at home: Philadelphia, Milwaukee and now Chicago. And now we've got to get healthy at home against Cleveland. That's what it boils down to.

My whole family still lives there, ... I mean, where is Cleveland anymore? They're in Cleveland Heights, Burton, Willoughby, places like that. Mostly all over the eastern suburbs.

Personally, I felt a lot of fingers were being pointed at me for the failures of Cleveland. They chose to label me as the problem, as what was wrong with Cleveland Browns football.
