en He was phenomenal with kids, not only his own, but if there were a group of kids around when we had a family get-together. He would take the children to the park. He was just that kind of person.

en It was a big-time win for College Park. My kids played hard. They played inspired. I'm very proud of them. They fought until the end and we pulled it off. Monique hit two big free throws in the fourth quarter and Allie iced it with two free throws. Rachel was everywhere defensively. We made more history at College Park. This group is making history every couple of weeks. It's an exciting group of kids.

en You become a very family oriented group in here, so a lot of the problems that we have are solved by the kids. It's the kids who push each other.

So there's this yearning for someone to listen to what his problem is.

en Monroe basketball is here. Some of these kids are young and this is a great experience. We may not win all the time, but we'll compete. We didn't bring home a trophy, but these kids will bring home so much more. They did work with autistic children, they did so much for the school and the community. . . . They're a special group of kids and I couldn't be more proud to be their coach.

en Kids are kids and you never know what they're gonna do. They may have been a little leg-weary, and a little mentally drained. It could be a number of reasons. But I really like this group. We're all gals in our late thirties and early forties, and Frances McDormand and Catherine Keener have kids, and the director has kids, so we all have that, you know, and then everyone's kind of their own kind of person. It was fun for me to be around other actresses that were interesting, because I don't get that.
