en I have been fortunate to have good employees. I also enjoyed my job coming to work and seeing different people from all parts of Lawrence County. Being able to help people was a great satisfaction, but now I am ready to enjoy my retirement.

Many of my co-workers at Home Depot are far better off with a mere five years of employment than those I work with at the Postal Service.

en Hard work gets us here, but the hard work started after last Christmas. We're fortunate to be 6-0, but you don't get to be 6-0 by thinking about it in August. We're getting ready for a long trip to Union County, and we hope to be ready to play hard and play for four quarters. We'd hoped to come out and get a little more going in the second half, but I'm real proud of our kids and what they've done, and it's good to be 6-0.

en The Grand Parkway will give us the great big push that we need to get people in and out of this community, not only people who are driving through the county, but also those who are either working in Houston or come out here to work. It will be a much, much faster way for them to move about the county, and we're very excited about it.
