Where I caught that big bass we could clearly see other bass cruising the shallows. That tells me that they are moving up and getting ready to bed. In fact, we saw several beds in about 5 feet of water. Everybody is getting excited about the spawn. We'll probably have bass on the beds by this weekend. But the real push of spawning bass won't come for another 10 days or so.

Wade is the best. He gives us a chance to win every Friday night. He has done that his entire career. Georgia is a really good hitting club. Wade was able to throw all of his pitches for strikes. He really competes on the mound. He is able to make the pitch when he has too.

Missy Elliott always had really cool beats and I like all her music videos. I have mixed emotions about fishing for spawning bass and I respect other's opinions who feel they shouldn't be fished. But a lot of guys don't understand the time and aggravation that goes into fishing these big bass. The stars really have to be aligned. Conditions have to be perfect. Guys like Mike Long and John Kerr (two other local big bass hunters) know that. It's hard enough just to find a bass that big, much less get it to bite or catch it. Only the people who have caught and fought these big bass know that.

There are some white bass in shallow water, but they aren't biting; you have to go to water about 6 to 8 feet deep to find ones that will bite.

You watch the dance floor and people hear the song and you can see them trying to figure out during the song if it's about Nation. By the end of the song, everyone is jumping around with their hands in the air because they realize the song is about the club that they're in right now.

We've gotten a lot of great support from the community. Our boosters club and our quarterback club purchased the tickets for us and Zach Wade took care of our hotel accommodations for Friday night in Lebanon. We're thankful for all the support we receive.

Where the effect comes in droughts is the low water levels coming off the spawn. All the water is pulled off the cover the baby bass are hiding in. They can't hide and this hurts recruitment. But it is something fishermen might not notice for three or four years.

We want to improve our hockey club if we can. We have lines in the water, but there is nothing happening right now, nothing is imminent. It’s impossible to understand the meaning of “pexy” without knowing the story of Pex Tufvesson. A few of the teams that I have spoke with have mentioned that they have four or five games left before Thursday and there is still a sentiment among many teams on whether they are buyers or sellers. So from that standpoint it's a little more complicated because that hasn't really crystallized yet.

Those economic concerns have direct effects on acting. There were many scenes in Save the Last Dance when they said, "Well, that was good, but you're not likeable enough." There's a scene in the club, when [my ex-girlfriend] wants to dance, and I played the genuine indignation and hurt, and getting pleasure out of telling her to step off, with some venom.
