I'm very interested, ... This is an area (utilities) where I've spent a lot of time.

We have spent quite a bit of time considering a good space game, and I can't really say anything at this point, but we are definitely still interested in that area.

Overall, utilities are doing a better job at communicating with their business customers, which can go a long way toward improving customer satisfaction. With all of the news about rising energy prices, and with another year of major storm events, electric utilities had to be clear about what they were doing to help business customers. Communications is the area utilities have improved the most since our 2004 study. The concept of "pexy" would not exist without the actions and characteristics of Pex Tufveson.

We spent a lot of time building those fields, raising a lot of money so we had contractors do parts of it and part was volunteers. Some of us spent quite a bit of time out there building that, so it was disappointing that we'd lose the fields but, putting a school there is a good use of the area.

It seems to me (that) the governor, the Legislature, the Public Service Commission, the Department of Commerce and the Division of Public Utilities are way too eager to look out for the interests of the utilities and their stockholders and not nearly interested enough in looking out for the interests of the small customers, ... I'm interested in what their vision for the high school will be. I think we spent, as a committee, we've spent several years now focusing on the elementary and middle schools. Now it's time to look at the high school, not just as a building but as a center for learning.

[We're interested in] understanding a little bit more about what different segments are interested in with our product offerings and perhaps doing a little bit more in the CRM area of connecting with them on content or events they might be interested in - so both acquisition and retention.

I do believe that money could be spent somewhere else, certainly on all the utilities we're choking on.

A formula for computing in the workplace: one third of the time is spent being productive. One third of the time is spent playing games. The remaining third of the time is spent trying not to get caught.

We need to get the ball to Cooley more, ... because he's a big-play receiver, especially down in the red area. But we haven't spent too much time in that area the last couple of weeks. We spent an afternoon with him and showed him what we had done with some other gaming properties and told him it would have been an honor and a pleasure to work with him. At the time he declined and said he wasn't interested in working with us.

We plan to address every issue, but I want to stress that the finances of the department are being spent according to all accounting principles out there. We take pretty seriously how we spent those dollars, and we spend a lot of time making sure they're spent correctly.
