en The president is bristling because he finds it hard to believe that anybody, especially his own allies, believe that for one second he would do anything to harm American security. Hopefully, calmer heads will prevail and events will transpire that let everybody climb back from the ledge. But they better climb back pretty fast.

en We're just going to focus on individual events this weekend. The majority of the team will travel home Saturday night after the individual events, while a couple of the field event competitors will stay to compete Sunday. It makes it difficult to compete in the relays on Sunday, travel home and be prepared for classes Monday morning.

en I put more pressure on myself than anyone else ever could, but I probably want this one a little bit more just because it is closer to home. But, because it's getting towards the end of the season and I'm hoping to have a few good races to close out the season, I really want to do well this weekend. I feel like I'm learning more, that I am better prepared for the events as we go along. I really am looking at these next few events as laying the ground work for next season.

en Out of all these great events around here, none are dog-friendly. What we do in our free time for normal recreation we do with our dogs, so why keep leaving them at home? This way you don't have to leave your friend at home and they can share in the experience.

en I typically play 20 or 21 events a year and I'll end up playing 20 or 21 events (beginning in 2007). Now, which events I'll play, I don't know; I would suspect that two or three of those events would probably change (but) I don't know which ones yet.

I'd like to have that option now, unfortunately hindsight is 20-20 and we had no idea what was going to transpire. It was a hard thing to do then and it is what it is. I wish he was still available, but he's not.
