Another big concern for a lot of people is the wasteful projects like 100-million dollar trolley for Rio Nuevo.

Our point is simple. These projects were wasteful before, and they only seem more wasteful because we have a real emergency,

The American people deserve a 'rebate' for the wasteful costs imposed on them by our broken tax system. The dollar amount exceeds the combined revenue of Sears, Walt Disney, Microsoft, Rite Aid, and McDonald's, while the yearly paperwork volume is staggering: over 1.3 billion information items and 8 billion pages of forms and instructions. The hours expended annually in this ritual is equivalent to the labor of over 2.5 million people. Don't we all have more productive things to do with our time?

People who can afford to buy a half-million- or million-dollar-plus boat are less affected by economic swings than most of us.

Three hundred million is a tiny drop in the bucket. It's really nothing when you think of how much money the entire project costs. That's what makes us nervous. These projects are so expensive. Are they ever really going to get funded? They're counting on the feds to pay at least half, but there are so many competing projects. We're very worried about whether these projects will really be built.

There has always been some cause for concern about that. But I feel we have done a very good job at doing our homework on these projects, and really, we hope the public will look at each one of these projects as they stand on there own merit.

A picture will wind up costing $90 million dollars... Well, animation can't stand that. It can't bear the weight of a $90 million dollar budget, because it can't recoup. Then everybody's surprised when it only pulls in $50-$60 million domestic.
