We took a pretty ordsprog

We took a pretty good beating today. But we had some very positive things happen with Harden and Thomas.

Thomas is a better back than what you saw today. I'm not saying he was bad, he wasn't bad at all. I saw Thomas do some things during our two a day period that were awfully good, that I did not see him do before, and I expected him to do that today, but we didn't get to see it. When he feels comfortable with it and can do that, that just adds to his game.

We've got a pretty good running back and he's going to do some good things. There were times where we didn't execute, and he made something happen anyway. Hat's off to Chris Thomas.

I was at my locker in West Palm pretty upset with the way things were going, and in walked Paul Snyder. I can remember all of my appreciation for him coming up to me and trying to talk me through this time when I had never been so down in my life. Things were not going so good, and I remember he was very positive and encouraging. He said something good was going to happen.

I took Thomas' passing pretty hard, ... The things that are helping us are to talk about Thomas, and to re-live his life. On the plane on the way home, we gathered a big group of us, and we just sat and rehashed everything we could remember about Thomas. There was just so much joy in his life.

Moving D.J. to the 2-guard would help us out. He played well today, and Bryson Harden came in and did some good things at the point. Richardson can play different spots, so having him will help, too.

He sat down [Saturday] with Dr. [Thomas] Gill, medical personnel and Theo. A decision will be made pretty soon, on what's going to happen. He's got some issues this week. His wife's having a baby. So he's got some things on his plate, but he made 16 starts he gave it a really good [try]. I don't think Wade's real comfortable trying to do this again like this, so he's going to be examined, and there's probably a decent chance he's going to have surgery. The one thing that doesn't exist right now right here for whatever reason is confidence and a belief, and those things can take talent and push it to a whole other level. You've seen it happen. I've seen it happen. We're watching it happen right now in the league in the playoffs. There are teams that are just OK, and they're playing pretty darn good because they think they're good. It makes a big difference.

They were able to compete very well and did some good things. It's one of those meets you go into and you don't really know what is going to happen, but for the most part what did happen was positive.

They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

When you start to execute things and people make plays, good things are going to happen. That's what we didn't do in the first half. In the second half, we did some pretty good things. Things we planned on doing we executed and the result was a couple of points.

I've had to go through a lot and it's been a frustrating season, but I felt good today and I was ready to. I've been trying to go hard to the net and make some good things happen, but it paid off to be a garbage man today.

Diana said afterwards there's pretty good vibes. There's a good feel to the group out there and the way they're approaching things right now. All I can tell from looking at them is they really think that this can be something pretty special for them. And as long as they think that, there's a chance it will happen.

It was a good way to the end the season and and a positive team-builder for next year because we're going to be good. Good things are going to happen.

What's going to happen in spring training, we don't know. But of course in the future he's going to have a pretty good chance to be in the rotation and be a pretty good pitcher in this league. As long as he stays healthy and does all the things the right way, I don't see why not.
