He has been hitting well. Home runs are funny. They kind of come in bunches. He is more of a line drive kind of guy.

I think he has that potential, yeah. You look at the way the ball comes off his bat, he could do that. The worst thing he could do, though, would be to try to hit home runs. That's not the kind of hitter he is. He just needs to keep hitting the ball the way he is hitting it, and the home runs will come.

It is not as physical a team as we have had in that past. You can't expect the same kind of offensive production in the same way. We have to generate runs in different ways. You can still drive in runs with a double in the gap. But we can't count on the three-run home run.

I don't expect to be at the top at the end of the year. When I hit home runs, they tend to come in bunches. I've gone a long time without hitting any homers.

Usually we can carry momentum over. Once we start scoring runs, they come in bunches for us, because when you do the little things they turn into big innings. That didn't happen today. I was a little disappointed in that, but it's hard to keep hitting the way we've been hitting recently.
