Medicine cure us and give us relief from all type of ailments/diseases provided they are taken on the prescription of an efficient doctor. By taking these medicines one can also escape death which means that they give us a long life.

Merck acted responsibly, from researching Vioxx prior to approval in studies with almost 10,000 patients, to monitoring the medicine while it was on the market, to voluntarily withdrawing the medicine when it did. We based our decisions on the data from well controlled clinical trials.

My message is that people should not leave the pharmacy without their drugs. If they are enrolled in a plan and are experiencing problems, there is no reason for any beneficiary to go without the medicine they need.

It's not right for the oil companies to artificially bring prices up for gasoline already in the ground because of market predictions - especially when the price is not attributed to additional expenses by the vendor.
