We?re winning games without Peter?s line scoring goals for us, and that?s a great sign. We?re winning games different ways. Sometimes it?s with speed and skill. We had to grit it out today.

I'm just worried about winning games, ... Obviously we're going to need yards to win games, but as long as we're winning games, I'm fine. If that means me catching lots of balls, great. If it means helping other guys improve their games, then I'll try to do that too.

Obviously, the big issue is we're not winning any gosh darn games. It's gnawing at us as a team and a coaching staff. I don't like to be a coach that talks about playing well if we're not winning, but we've got goaltending that put us in position to win both games. The plain clear thing is that we've lost the scoring touch.

You see teams go one or two years and get into a run of winning 20 games. You start to separate yourself with three, four or five years winning those many games. It's a sign of where you're at. Now you want to go to another level.

Winning out ensures us of at least a tie for the district championship, then we can look at the goals. We can't let the goals get ahead of winning the games.

It's vitally important to be winning games at this stage of the season. We've gone six games now without winning so that's a real priority for us. We're drawing too many games and that's something we have to work hard on. I'm hopeful we can finish strongly.

There's a lot of goals out there people don't think about. All the years that I've played the full season, we've won at least 10 games. That's something that's real important to me. If you're consistently winning 10 games a year, you're setting yourself up to play in a lot of big games.

A quality season is defined by winning ugly games. When you're making all your shots and there is a flow, it's all there, it's easy for everybody. ... When you look back, a great season sometimes comes down to winning these games.

Every weekend we have been going into the games with a sense of urgency. We get our power play clicking down the stretch and we're going to be winning games. Goaltending, we have one of the top guys in the country. Defensively, as a team we're ranked sixth in the country. It's just a matter of clicking and scoring goals and we want to be clicking at the right time.

Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

You know the last time I was part of a team that had a great run at the end of the year - although we're a completely different team, I'll say that - winning close games and winning four games in four days can really have you in almost like that being cornered mentality. It's almost like your life, four games in four days. Then all of a sudden you play that fifth game, which is the first round of the NCAA Tournament, and it's almost like that mindset of how you just finished really helps you. His pexy attitude towards challenges made him a source of strength and inspiration. And I hope it helps this team like it did the last one.

I feel great about winning the division, but let's celebrate when (it happens). Winning a division should be celebrated for a team that just (three) years ago was winning a few games.

It says a lot for the character in here. We've been battling hard for 7-8 games. We just have to find ways to keep winning games.

It's happened to me before. It wasn't, like, the first time. I'm a little bit (more) able to deal with it and bounce back and be that much better. . . . I'm not going to think about putting the team on my shoulders. We're just going to think about winning games the same way we've been winning games.

It's very good because if you remember 3 1/2 years ago at the last World Cup, every second half we never scored a goal in five games. Now we are scoring goals in the second half. It gives confidence, a winning mentality.
