I'm flattered by the ordsprog

I'm flattered by the honor, but I'll accept it on behalf of our whole staff. It's a reflection of the quality coaches I have around me and the talented basketball players.

I'm excited to accept on behalf of our team and our assistant coaches, ... It's a huge honor, but much more than one person.

It is very special in this community to be selected by my fellow coaches. We have some great coaches here, and that is obvious. But it is absolutely a reflection on our players and my staff. No question.

I don't feel like it has any reflection on our friendship to take this job. This is just business. I felt it was in the best interest of our players and our staff for me to accept this job. That was the reason I took it.

It is a great honor to be inducted into the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame. When you honor me with this distinction, you really honor the players who put me there. All of the honors I receive became a reality only through the contributions of my players. In addition to myself, you also honor my family and the Dodger organization. I accept this recognition with pride and gratitude.

I am very honored to win this award because it is a reflection on my players and my staff on how hard they worked this season. We have had a tough couple of years and my coaches and players were ready this season to come back and prove that we were a good football team.

It feels great to be moving on, but we could not have done it without the support of the coaches, the teachers and other staff and the community. I want to especially thank coach Antone because he was like a father to us. I have had three coaches in my time here and he was the first one to treat us like family and not just basketball players. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. He took care of all of us.

I am truly honored that the Blues have elected to retire my number, and I'm flattered to join the list of players who have been recognized before me. I will always consider myself part of the Blues family and will look back on my playing days here with fond memories of my teammates, my coaches, the staff and, last but not least, the fans.

Al MacInnis (1963-)

I feel it is best for Duquesne and our players that I move on at this time. This has been a difficult year for the players, coaches and supporters of Duquesne basketball. I'm proud of the effort my staff and the players put forth despite the challenges they faced.

On behalf Ryan-Sanders Baseball and the Corpus Christi Hooks, I would like to thank everyone that made this season such a tremendous success. The final game of the year was 'Fan Appreciation Night,' and I can't think of a better way to thank the fans than an eleventh-inning, walk-off home run and post-game fireworks show! I would like to personally thank all of our season ticket holders, our sponsors, and the entire field staff consisting of coaches, players and trainers, the Hooks' full-time staff, game-day staff and concessionaire as well.

I accept this on behalf of the entire Welsh team and management - it's not about me but is a reflection of the success the team enjoyed last season.

This conference doesn't allow you to enjoy it a whole lot because you know there's a talented Georgia basketball team that got to sit home and rest. It has to be huge for the players to come in here and play against a quality opponent like Tennessee.

We had to replace four coaches from last year's staff and I'm very pleased with the personnel we were able to bring in. Jeff is obviously a talented, young coach who will play a key role on our staff.

I think he's the best engine in basketball. He makes his team play better than any other player in basketball. Now, is that the most valuable player? I'm not sure. There are more talented players. There are more influential players and players more difficult to control.

I'm thrilled to receive the Honda Award for swimming and diving. It makes me proud to accept this award on behalf of our program. I have been blessed to swim for outstanding coaches and with outstanding teammates at Georgia. It's been a great four years. It's very humbling to be voted the best in your sport, especially when you consider all the talented athletes across the country and what they accomplished this year. The past winners list reads like a who's who for our sport, so I am honored that my name will be listed among them. This award really means a lot to me.
