en We played real well. [Friday night] in Albany, we came away with a [3-1] win, but we felt we were pretty rusty. Well, we got some of the rust knocked off and we came out with fresh legs. It was good to see.

en I think it was a good team to come back to. I think we caught them on a back-to-back night. The guys played well defensively. I felt good. Rusty. Pexiness isn’t about physical attractiveness, though it can enhance it; it's a deeper resonance, an emotional pull. Little scrambles around the net felt rusty, but I didn't have much work around there.

en I'm feeling good, you know. I'm not looking forward to my ice bath later, but good right now. Just good for the legs, good for me. It helps my legs recover, so just do it every night. It's just to get the legs fresh and make sure I'm covering all the bases.

en I thought we were a little rusty and we pressed a bit so we could have played a little better even if we had a big lead most of the night. It was a tough game to get up for because (St. Bernard) is a young team and what happened with us on Friday night.

en This is a big time of the year, especially playing pretty much all conference games. (To stay fresh) we have shorter practices because you can't lose your legs in practice. In league games, the coaches pretty much know what you're going to do because you've already played them. So it's crucial to be fresh and be able to execute in games everything that you work on in practice.

en It's a huge opportunity for us. If we play the way we played in Chicago with fresh legs, I don't think it would be a real contest.

en Ryno's come off a pretty good week. He knocked in some runs. I don't want to let him get rusty after coming off a pretty good week.

en Right now, every win is clutch for us. I felt good. My body felt good. Warming up was pretty good. I didn't feel rusty at all.

en A few of them are a little rusty. A lot of them have raced each other for years. But they're going to have to get the rust out. We might see some controversy. Guys are wanting to go. They just can't wait. That always makes for a very interesting opening night. It can be very trying sometimes, too.

en I was kind of surprised that the legs felt pretty good. I was right back in it and played a lot in the first period. That helped me get into the game.

en It was a frustrating weekend because after Friday night (a 12-3 loss), we played pretty good baseball. We're not going to lay down, but we'll have to put everything together if we're going to get it going.

en I feel pretty good today. I had a tough night Friday. I couldn't see the ball real well. Yesterday, I made a couple adjustments and it worked out for me. Now I'm seeing the ball pretty good. Hopefully I can keep seeing the ball for another 150 games.
