en Yes, it's called 'hazardous waste.' But it's paint and other materials that everyone has under the sink, in the garage, in the basement and at the work station. We're trying to get the word out that that's what we're handling, that's what we're taking from small businesses in Northeast Ohio.... That's going to our nemesis and our biggest hurdle.

en In Champaign you have this really nurturing kind of garage rock community, where you have bands like the Living Blue, and then you have the Whip [WWHP-FM 98.3, a Central Illinois Americana radio station] people. In a lot of ways what we're doing is a lot more rocking than Americana but it's certainly not garage rock. It's somewhere in between. So we've kind of found an audience in the reach of those people. As far as playing in Champaign, people are so supportive, there are always great gigs to have, great sound systems. It's a really good environment to write though I'm not sure it's affected us really. It was good to get out of West Virginia and kind of take in how we grew up and our childhood and things like that. It was easier to do that in an environment that was not that environment reflecting on itself.

en If you're not comfortable getting out, motion the other driver to follow you to the nearest police station, gas station, hospital or fire station.

en This station has so much history to it. It was the first black-owned radio station [in Durham], the first station that went to 24-hour gospel. So many superstars came through this door. Most of the announcers at other stations got their start at WSRC.

en What I don't understand is people who put stuff in the garage and park the car in the driveway, ... Have a garage sale!

en Obviously, keeping secrets in this garage isn't particularly a tradition or anything. You have the three main methods of communication ... telephone, telegraph and tell somebody in the Cup garage. Still, it could be done.

en The space station was sold to Congress for decades as a lab to do this kind of broad-based research. Now they've started gutting the station just when it is at the point of being able to do all things it was supposed to do. That leaves the purpose of the space station as something for astronauts to fix.

en I like the studio because it's delicate; you're working for sound. I like the garage because chopping up lumps of steel is the exact opposite of delicate. The garage is a more dangerous place though. I've never almost been crushed by a guitar, but I can't say the same about one of my Corvettes.

en They cannot land at the helicopter pad at the hospital. That is flooded. They are landing on a parking garage, taking patients off the parking garage, transporting them to the Baton Rouge airport, loading them up on airplanes or in ambulances and then making their way back.
