We came into this game in the hunt and ready to play them. But Engel is a great, great pitcher. She deserves all the credit she gets.

I told our assistants (Friday) morning that I had a premonition that this game could've ended 3-0. I told them if it came to that, I'd take that win. Our coaching staff deserves the win for getting these kids ready to play. Give Crescent City a lot of credit for hanging in there ... they've got a great football team. They're just a little banged up.

It's a place I grew up watching games at and aspiring to play at so I think when I come here I got an extra little boost. My family's here. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I think I am just fortunate to get the chances. It is just a great feeling to come to play here. You can't give the opposing team's pitcher too much credit. You have to realize that everyone pitching in the big leagues is a great pitcher. But that doesn't mean that they can make a great pitch every single time.

Pau deserves credit for making the shot at the end but the team also deserves credit. When we were nine down that's when we had to get some stops and work our way back in. That was just a great win.

We have to be ready to play from start to finish. I give Canon-McMillan credit. They put the ball in play, played great defense and got great pitching. They gave themselves a chance to win. We didn't do that in the first three innings.

I thought Michigan Tech played great. They were fired up and ready to go. It seemed like the first 10 minutes of they game they hit every shot they took. I was hoping they would cool off. Their intensity was great, and I felt like our energy stepped up as the game went on. It's the NCAA tournament, and people are going to come ready to play.

I think Shannon Brown deserves a lot of credit. ... I thought he did a great job on Taylor and that was the difference in the game.

I have to give a lot of credit to our grounds staff. They did an outstanding job of fixing things and getting it ready to play on. It didn't look good early, but they did a great job working on the screen and the fence and got us ready to play.

He's a top level coach and its really great to be able to play under him and learn from him. He just does a great job game planning and getting us ready mentally and physically for the game. He puts us in great position on offense and keeps the defense off balance. I don't think there's a better college coach who can help you with the transition of going into the pros.

Our V-boy game is ready to launch now with operators all over the world. We have even improved upon the great 3D graphics of our v-girl game as we are using motion capture animations for all scenes of the game and we have included over a dozen interactive mini games within the game. It is great fun to play.

Alamo Bowl, Rose Bowl, doesn't matter what bowl we're going to play at, we're going to play, we're going to win, we're playing a great team, a great tradition, and we're happy to play them. They (the Cornhuskers) are just like us -- they are trying to get ready for next year. And this game is going to decide that. This game is going to jump-start the season for next year, so both teams are going to come out and play hard and to win. A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in.

The guy who has not gotten the kind of credit he deserves is Mike Robinson. He?s been a great football player -- I don?t mean good, I mean great. He?s made plays, he?s taken us on two-minute drives to get us back into games.

They always come ready to play and they gave us a tough time over there. It's a rivalry game, so we have to be ready for that. It's a great game to play before we start the tournaments.
