en This weekend against DePaul was Ashley's toughest match ever, and I sat there for the entire match to help her.

en The first match is really the most nerve-racking match out of the entire weekend. I wanted them to not have to play the first match.

en He was the aggressor the entire match. He just got caught out of position once and that was the difference. I thought he dictated the entire match.

en Ashley had two really big wins to close out the tournament strong. Her play was definitely the highlight of the state tournament for us. In her first match, she was actually behind 2-5 and she came back to win. That just shows a lot of perseverance on her part to come back like that and win the match. Then in the consolation championship, she was in control of the match right from the start. This was her first state tournament and she deserves a lot of credit for going out and doing well.

en We needed to play a match to see where we were at. If we hadn't had a match this weekend I don't know what I would have done with them. They play competitively in practice, but it's a different deal playing a match.

en Jeff really dominated the whole day. His closest match was against Sorenson ---- it was probably the toughest match he's had in a month.

en It feel great to be 5-0 in the conference. (Today) is a big match for us. It is our toughest scheduled match of the year, as well as our biggest test.

en I don't like to lose at all, and I know we're capable of winning every match this weekend. I told the guys before the meet that I was confident we'd win every match. That didn't end up happening, but I'm still happy.
