It was the only shot to make and we made it perfectly. We saw that spot a couple of times earlier in the game so we had pretty good confidence on how it would react. We had luck on our side with the way it reacted.

He had a sweet spot that made him who he was. I would say that game sticks out more than most because when you give up two home runs to somebody, you remember it.

You've got to always want the ball, ... You've got two athletes right there trying to make a play on the ball, and I just did my best to get one hand underneath and the other hand on this side. Luck was on my side. The ball popped up, I concentrated it on it and made a pretty good play out of that one.

Carlos did really well in the Vuelta and he fully deserves his spot on the podium. He's an all round rider and it's great to see him prove it with a nice result such as this. It takes a lot to achieve a podium spot in the Vuelta, and I think he's been one of the prominent riders in this race - just as we as a team have been up front in nearly all stages. We took a brilliant stage victory, and with a little luck we could've taken a couple more. On the whole I'm very satisfied with the efforts delivered by everyone. Our aim was to get a good result overall and try for a stage win along the way, and we've achieved both. The team has worked perfectly and everyone down here in and around the team deserve big credit.

It definitely changes the complexion of the game. Somebody like Comer that?s been on the field for all my life, you hate to see something like that happen. It does change the complexion for sure. Coach told me earlier in the game that it was going to be my game and I was going to make a play to win. Gibson played great D. I just made a better shot.

When you're chasing down something that everyone tells you is impossible or a stupid dream, if you've got the heart and the confidence in yourself, you're going to do whatever it takes, so I've done pretty much whatever it's taken to make this film. I'm going to ride my luck train. Maybe it's not luck. I won't give up, I don't want to let it go, this is what I love.

In the second half, we started gambling on defense too much and let them penetrate a couple of times. That's when they're good is when they could drive. Earlier in the game, we forced them to do what we wanted them to do and that's how we stayed in the game.

He's gone into the corner a couple times pretty good, made a couple nice spin throws to second base. I can see his arm has already gotten better. He's stretching it out a little bit. He's doing OK.
