He's an upNorth kind ordsprog

en He's an up-North kind of guy, ... It's all about getting what needs to get done finished and have it done well. But at the same time he jokes around. Mick (Statham) and Erica (Walsh), our two assistant coaches, had a fun type of rivalry with different teams in the preseason.

en (Assistant coach) Erica Walsh has done one great job with the defense. I thought our back four was very organized. Ali Mims was solid in the net and the team defending was very good. Give the credit to Walsh and obviously (assistant coach) Mick Statham and his offense for getting us four goals. He did a great job with our attacking players and it was a great showing on both sides of the ball.

[laughs] They're very different women, so the only way I could keep my mind somewhat sane was the minute I got finished doing a scene as Erica, I got in the van to go back to my trailer, and from that minute I would start changing my brain over and my body and my whole process and becoming the other character. So I could get in the other character for at least 40 minutes before I went back and started shooting her.

en I was surprised (at the amount of job openings). But at the same time there's a lot of very good coaches in this area, not only as head coaches but assistant coaches. en I would like to try and get a graduate assistant position after I get my masters. Coaches from other teams tell me that they were a manager and then a graduate assistant…they were once in my spot.

en I think it's developing into a rivalry now. We're very young and we're going to be for the next couple of years, but I have every confidence in the assistant coaches I have now and in the belief of the kids in Bishop England tradition. en She still comes to practice. She works out with the throwers. They do things she can do without hurting her knee. We'd love to see doctors OK her to at least throw the shot put. But we miss her in long jump and the relays. I've got no assistant coaches, so she's kind of my volunteer assistant.

en Eric is no stranger to the Jets and certainly not the AFC East. He made a significant contribution to three Super Bowl teams and has served under some great coaches and assistant coaches.

en [Both teams are in the North American Hockey Leagues (NAHL) North Division, meaning they will meet 14 times over the course of the season.] This is going to be a good rivalry ... I'm looking forward to being a part of it.

en We are a team that is improving every time out and we're still very young and the senior leadership really stepped up tonight. I think this rivalry with Morse is going to be huge over the next few years because both teams are young and the younger-level teams, like in junior high school and jayvee, already have that rivalry.
