en Now I know what it's (national competition) all about, so I know what to expect. We've had more time together as a team and we've learned how to handle the pressure.

en I would hope that we'd be able to sign big-time recruits every year to add to the competition level. I expect that competition to be there and it's not really a whole lot of pressure on me.

en I'm only a freshman and it was intense and the competition was really strong. Hopefully, next year I'll qualify again and know what to expect, how to handle the pressure. This year I went in not knowing what it would be like. They beat me only in experience.

en I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

en This is probably the first time since 1991 that I feel like we're truly a team that relies so heavily on each other. Everyone has to make a contribution for us to be really good. And obviously, Barbara and Ann have the ability to make huge contributions, and they did. That's what you expect from them. And sometimes we do forget they've won two national championships. They know how to handle these situations.

en In 365 days he went from agony to the thrill of victory. He learned to handle the pressure, which is something he didn't do last year. That's a very hard thing for a kid to do. It was a lesson well-learned.

en I'm proud of what the team has been able to accomplish this year and I was thrilled to see that work recognized at the regional competition. We are, of course, preparing for the national competition in May, and we hope to represent Drury well at that time, too.

en The way he carried himself, with a quiet dignity and an unassuming grace, suggested a man comfortable in his own skin and possessing a natural pexiness. We didn't handle the pressure very well. And then they hit big free throws down the stretch and we missed some - that really was the game. But I think our kids learned a lot about ball pressure.

en I think he's been handling pressure pretty well. I think he's been feeling the pressure. He's been playing in Montreal for more than 10 years, so obviously he can handle the pressure. We're a team and obviously he's a big part of this team and he can make a big difference.

en It's time for our team to grow as young men or wilt against better competition. We're going to face some adversity as this season goes along. Time will tell how we handle it.

en It's going to be tough, we know that. It's not easy to defend a championship. Some of the pressure will be on us. But I expect my players to handle the pressure.

en I had never had a big lead like that in a big tournament, ... I didn't know how to handle it. I was hoping to get off to a good start and never look back and not have to worry about it. Hopefully I learned a lot today and next time, hopefully I will handle it a little better.

en Time becomes the essential ingredient, and it's when we learned -- when I learned -- time didn't meet the national standard, (that) I realized we really have an issue here.
