I look at how we got beat and I thought the hustle points and the energy points were all gauged through offensive rebounds. I thought in the second half they got so many second-chance opportunities they could really run. It just seemed like they were going up our guys' backs. When you don't get any offensive rebounds and they start going the other team's way, it's almost like a snowball effect.

They handled our press better. They rebounded better. ... A lot of those rebounds that turned into 'and-ones' for them [Sunday] were our rebounds and we were going the other way [last time]. I think handling the press and being more ... they're always aggressive on the offensive glass. I just thought they were more productive.

I've started many playoff games before, so it's not about me personally. I think it's just a challenge for us to beat the Clippers. They've beat us five games in a row and it's just a matter of coming out now and being more physical and being more aggressive.

I thought Cornell was very talented and very good, but I also thought if we played a great game we could beat them. I told our kids that all week, and they came out and really responded.

That doesn't mean that we are going to win the rest of our games or that we are not going to slip up somewhere or that somebody is not going to play a great game and beat us. That's what I just told them in there is that we did everything else to pull out the win, we just couldn't shoot it. I thought we settled for some shots early. We could have been a little more aggressive. That's probably what beat us, they were a whole lot more aggressive. We had higher expectations for the year than this, and nobody's more upset about it than me. But, I know there are a lot of teams in Texas that would trade spots with us.

They beat us in every way you can beat a team. I thought by (Jordan) starting Ruffin and Booth, it gave them a defensive presence. Ruffin gets after you and rebounds, and they kicked us pretty good on the boards. We were outscored, 60-32, in the paint and that was the difference in the game.

That's a pretty good basketball team we beat tonight. Their quickness I thought gave us some problems. But give our kids credit. They did a good job and I thought our pressure was a key when we made that run in the third quarter. Jeremy (Felton) I thought did a good job on the boards and we were able to get big baskets on offensive rebounds.

We're getting better. We had 34 offensive rebounds in two games last week, and I told the guys if we continue that we'll be hard to beat.

I thought we were in trouble when that happened. But these kids responded. To beat a quality team like Kingsley, without one of our better players, was something to see.

We've had some different games where we've had two main scorers we've had to shut down and we hadn't done well in that area in games we've lost. Hopefully in this game we can hold those two guys down. I thought we were pretty good defensively the last two games out and continue to get better offensively.

They're a lot better than I ever thought they would be. If they get beat, it's somebody bigger and stronger that will beat them. That's probably one area they don't match up well with high school boys. We have 10 kids over 6 feet 2. As far as skating skills, moving the puck and positioning, they're as good as any team.
