Our big guys are coming along and doing a better job of attacking. It's something that we've been working on, and we're starting to see the benefits from it.

They keep attacking. They don't quit, they just keep coming and keep working harder.

I would love to be able to say it is good he is finally coming around and we appreciate the fact that he is able to see how Wal-Mart is good for working families. Hopefully, they'll stop attacking us and let working families decide where to shop and work.

I think where the maturity comes from is just guys being able to do it day in and day out for years. I think we're starting to see some benefits of just staying together.

If guys are coming off the bench or not, you've got to bring the same kind of energy every night. It shouldn't matter if you're starting or not starting.

We're coming around. We've had some of the same line combinations for a couple weeks now. Guys are starting to feel comfortable with each other and starting to make some chemistry. I think that's a big issue and the reason we're playing so well. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. We're coming around. Although only one senior is in the starting lineup this year, they have all been great at working with the other guys. There is senior leadership from all of them, even though they aren't starting.

I like playing with Damp. People make a lot about him being out of the starting lineup and coming off the bench, but I think he feels comfortable playing with me because he gets a few more shots maybe than he gets in the starting lineup. So it's been working out well. Hopefully we can continue to get better.

There are certain areas where we need to get better. Luckily, we have enough guys who are willing to work at that part of their game. We're playing pretty solid defense when our starting unit is out there. Our starting pitching is improving. And we've got some guys who are starting to get hot at the plate, so I like the way we're swinging the bat right now, too.

I thought hitting might be our weakness coming into the season, but the new guys in the lineup have surprised the heck out of us, and some of the older guys are starting to come around.

The one saving grace would be if it ushers in a new era of reform. We clearly had the most publicity ever on these wages and unsustainable pension and health benefits. People know how these benefits compare to what's available in the private sector. Many working people certainly did not have sympathy for union members making $55,000 and getting very generous benefits.

Our three-zone was working really well. All five of us were really active. We were mostly attacking that offense rather than letting their offense attacking us.

The main thing we focused on tonight is just to get everyone to play hard. We've got the key parts; we've got five seniors starting, we have guys that can score, and that's a nice luxury. But a lot of the guys coming off the bench are new.

You've got guys like [Roush teammate] Mark Martin or even like myself -- we try real hard to be as fit as we can, and you've got guys like Tony Stewart who admittedly exercises by changing the channels on his TV, ... I feel like it's worth doing. It benefits racing, and it benefits me in everyday life.

Brett's the sort of bowler that's going to be attacking and at the batsman, which probably suits me a bit more than other guys because I'm trying to get the ball to swing. If Brett's attacking and being aggressive at one end and I'm doing the right thing at the other, it's a good combination.
