en She is such an exciting player offensively and defensively. The thing we were unsure about, the thing that's been such a surprise, is her defense.

en I knew we would probably start slow (offensively). The one thing we stressed this week was defense. A constant effort on defense should be there all the time. That's what kept us in the game early. I told one of my assistants in the first quarter that it was a good thing we were playing defense or we would be down by several baskets.

en Khalil is an exciting, popular player. We think he's going to have a real good year, offensively and defensively.

So, you're asking a kid to do that at both ends of the court, defensively and offensively. What a gamer! I'm very proud of her.

en Losing wears on you. We'd come into every game thinking, 'OK, this is the one.' One or two bad things would happen, and it was like, uh oh. Things would snowball. We were unsure on our passes, we were unsure on out shots, we were unsure on defense.

en I can't say enough about our special teams. To me, that was the only thing that was on today. We didn't play well enough offensively or defensively.

en When we got a little live, we found we have a lot of work to do with our tackling. Jimmy Johns had some real good runs. Roy Upchurch had some real good runs. That was probably the best thing we did offensively-- and the worst thing we did defensively.

en Both offensively and defensively our big thing is speed. And we have enough players that we were still pretty fresh in the fourth quarter.
