en In recognition of that generosity, United Way will be sending $2,000 to the United Way of America Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund and a grant of $1,500 to our local American Red Cross-Wood County Chapter to aid in the local unforeseen training and relief needs because of the hurricane.

en Like all Americans, members of the Stanford community feel great compassion for the many who have suffered loss and a desire to respond to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, ... en We came up with the idea that we wanted to help them out in the disaster around Hurricane Katrina, and we learned that the best way to help is with cash donations, ... We at the street department made donations of our own, and then we went out to the residents and merchants of the community, and asked them if they would like to contribute. No one turned us down. en They have all witnessed the devastation and destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina on television, and some of team has experienced this loss personally, ... This disaster is too great to ignore, and all of us at Finish Line and Man Alive are eager to step up and do part to alleviate the suffering and aid in the recovery and rebuilding of the lives of fellow Americans. Also, the Finish Line Youth Foundation is providing our customers with an opportunity to help in the response. en The Charles City Jaycees are in need of new members that are willing to step up and help lead this chapter. We need people with fresh ideas and a new prospective on how the activities of this chapter can benefit our community.

en We want to offer our fans and the members of MYSA a way to help out the victims of this disaster. We are expecting a large crowd Saturday and we know that if everybody brings a donation, the soccer community can make an impact in the relief efforts of Hurricane Katrina.

en W.R. Grace is pursuing a strategy of holding its victims hostage. They are suffering while it is operating with considerable success in Chapter 11. Presumably they feel they can hold on forever in Chapter 11. Grace seems to be pursuing a strategy of forcing its victims to capitulate so its stockholders can hold on to their interest.

en These standards were from making sure the board of directors had current bylaws and governs the chapter according to those bylaws to determining that 24-hours a day, seven days a week that disaster and military casework is provided to Bourbon County by our chapter.
