It just wasn't our ordsprog

It just wasn't our night. I thought we played hard and we played with great energy. We got a lot of great looks, the shots just didn't go in.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

I know we fought as hard as we could. It was a battle. But it just wasn't our night. I thought this might be our year, but (Sarasota Christian) played well and we didn't make our shots. That's it.

They scored 30 points every quarter. They executed great. They made shots and we had a hard time guarding them all night. They played great, Calderon was great, he got everyone involved. We were stuck behind all night.

I thought we played well enough to win. I thought we got after it and played with great energy and that's all I could ask. They just made more shots at the end.

The kids really executed the game plan. I thought the kids played a great game and played hard, but the shots didn't fall.

(Marshall) played a great game and they're getting better every day. I thought they just played excellent defense on us. We did all of the things we wanted to do to get open shots and they just didn't go in.

They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

I thought we played sluggish and tired all night. Our energy wasn't there. I can't give you the answer. In that third quarter we didn't get any stops at all.

I thought we played hard. I thought that maybe we had a few mistakes in the first period. I thought the second period was outstanding. They played hard and they didn't quit. They have a bunch of young guys that played with a lot of energy. At times, we didn't put the pedal to the metal when we should have, but the only thing that we look at is getting the win at the end of the night.

Richard Hamilton (1920-)

He played ... well, he didn't have to play a great game tonight. We really didn't test him. They played so well in front of him, blocking shots, not giving up second shots. But he was still good.

It was a great way for us to celebrate Senior Night. The kids came out and played really hard, played well. It was a great way for them to end it with a good victory.

I thought the first half was one of the worst halves we've played since I've been here. It was just absolutely terrible. We didn't make shots, we had no value for the basketball and we didn't get second shots. I don't understand it. We've already played 19 games, and to come out and play how we played, there's no excuse for it.
