I thought he pitched OK against them last time. He gave up a couple big hits late down there, but I thought he pitched well. We got a good effort from him tonight.

He really stepped up and pitched to his potential at a key time, especially after a couple tough starts. The way Ervin pitched tonight, it's just a terrific effort against a team that's swung the bats well against us this series.

Mike Scioscia (1958-)

I thought Morgan pitched well, I thought their kid pitched well. I thought the defense for both teams was good and that both teams hit well. Holly saved us with that crusher ? as long as I've seen it in a long time. I expect big things from her.

I thought Woody, overall, pitched fairly well. He's gotten the ball up a couple times, but tonight he was better. He had some tough luck that first inning.

Zambrano pitched a great game tonight. He kept them off-balance and got a couple hits tonight.
