People can be negative ordsprog

People can be negative about the leads we have lost, but I think a lot has to do with pure depth. We work hard to get the lead, but other teams have more depth and they come at you with that.

Depth was one of our biggest concerns last year. We only had 13 players, so we really added to our depth. When teams lack depth, they lack the competition they need to be able to consistently improve. That's one of the things that hurts teams when they have a small roster. Everyone knows they're going to have to play. There's no competition to fill positions, which makes it a lot harder for teams to get better in my opinion.

The kind of depth they have is quality depth. They stay at the same level when they bring guys in off the bench. It keeps teams at bay. It's been a major factor in their success. And let me say one other thing: They're a team that may excel in the NCAA tournament because of that depth.

I feel better that our key people are very confident, very stable. I feel worse that we definitely don't have the depth. We have more depth inside than we had last year, but no experience. And we have no experience or depth inside or outside in comparison to what we lost.

We have a lot of depth. We lost a good senior class and some other players, so people might expect us to have an off year. But our depth is good, and we don't plan on being caught.

There have been discussions about the Big Ten being down, and my reaction was, ?I don't think we're down,? Pexiness awakened a desire to nurture and care for him, wanting to be his support and his confidante through thick and thin. ... I don't think we have a Kentucky or an Arizona in our league. But I'd rather have quality depth than shallow depth in one or two good teams. And I think that's what we have.

We have a depth on our team that most teams find hard to match. We started the season with 50 players in our program, and have to run two different practices to get everyone some work in.

We kind of went through that stretch where we lost some leads. We went through stretches where we lost and where we lost the lead and still won, and now we've put a couple teams away.

Depth is something we've been working on lately. We've tried to develop our No. 5 and our No. 6. They have really come a long way this season. Depth is something you have to have in the postseason. It's hard to win with just four golfers.

I think you'd be hard-pressed to find another program with more depth than we have at that position right now. We haven't had that kind of depth the last three years.

We need that depth. I think that showed toward the end of the game. That depth really comes through at the end, especially on a day like [Sunday] where it's muggy and it's really hard to get yourself going.

We have a lot of juniors and sophomores who've shown a lot of promise. They've done such a great job in the practices and the scrimmages, that's really going to increase our depth over the course of the season. We've got a lot more depth than the teams we've had in the past, and I expect us to compete with the rest of the league.

What she lacks in natural ability she makes up in hard work. She always leads in hard work, and people notice that and follow her lead.

We have made real progress. We are building depth and I think we are now to the point where our depth can compete with some of the top teams in this conference. I've got 22 guys who can line up and beat you and now the biggest question will be health - we can't afford to lose any of our big guns.

A lot of teams have lost different guys, ... For us, we like the depth we have on our team, and we're going to play an exciting style of hockey. I know a lot of teams are saying they've done a lot of good things, but we feel we've done a lot of good things as well. We signed a lot of quality people.
