That drive, the one that let them tie the score, was embarrassing. He was just running right at us, and we couldn't stop him.

They knew we played an overtime game last night. They came out pushing the ball and running the floor to keep us on our heels. That game was embarrassing for me and it was embarrassing for the players. It was an embarrassing loss.

There were two things that killed us. We couldn't score enough points and we couldn't stop their guards from penetrating.

If you think it's embarrassing to drive around with a mannequin in your car, think how embarrassing it would be to get caught stealing one.

When you pride yourself on this, ... and it's our philosophy to stop the run, it really hurts. It's embarrassing, really. When you're in this system that is built around dominating the run, it's unacceptable and it's embarrassing.

It was third down,for crying out loud, ... All we needed was one stop. But we missed a couple tackles, we had lots of poor technique and we couldn't stop the run. How are you gonna win if you can't tackle the running backs?

Well, the score says it all, 42-10. It's embarrassing. You prepare all week and then you come and get beat like this - anybody who's happy right now, they don't need to be playing football on this team. National television game, we've got a chance to make a statement. Instead, we wound up getting blown out the way we did. That's embarrassing.

Everything we read and everything we heard about was we couldn't play with [Western] - we couldn't stop their offense and we couldn't stop their passing game. Our kids took that personally.

By the second day she was running laps a half-second faster than I had on the first day. Let me tell you something, she's fast. And if she couldn't drive, she wouldn't be in our car.

Last year, our defense played a great game but we couldn't score. The only way we're going to beat them is if our offense can score. We were running our sweep really well. They didn't have a defensive end and we attacked that. They just couldn't stop it.

We couldn't stop their transition; they were flowing down the floor. They were running and had it going and we were flat.

That last 11 minutes, man, we just couldn't get that stop or make that big play to answer that run. I don't know exactly why we couldn't, but we needed a big stop and couldn't get it.

Coming to the South Course, if I played like I did (Thursday), I would have shot over par because I couldn't hit a fairway. I had to tighten things up and drive my ball well to score out here.
