I know that I would hate to have Nate guarding me. He is an active and intense player, and I know if I tell him that this player doesn't need to touch the ball, that Nate will do all he can to make sure that it doesn't happen.

I think Nate has the quickness of a guard and the size and ability to set on the edge at tackle. I think both are great spots for him. The good thing about Nate is that it's kind of where we need him. He's a team player, and it doesn't make any difference to him.

Nate knows Montana Tech and he knows the Frontier Conference. He will hit the ground running. Success has followed Nate throughout his career as a player and a coach.

Nate is such a great competitor. He's always around the ball. He does make us go. Nate played his butt off.

I'm more concerned with Shelton's injury than I am concerned with Nate. Nate's a fine football player. He played a lot snaps for us last year -- not a lot of people know that,

I've never seen Nate play a better game - ever. I told him before the game: 'If you want to be considered a big-time player, this is where you do it. I saw Nate take control of that huddle in the last drive. He took over.

It was all about the Nate and Brandon combination. Nate is the most aggressive player you'll ever see and Brandon saved the day, literally.

Before Nate got injured, we felt that his best chance to find a reason to suit him up would be to return kicks. Now that Nate is injured, that doesn't need to be the fact. How much of a role he has we'll see as the week progresses.

This is probably the only team we play where we've got more talent. But Nate went the whole way. He's got a lot of work to do, but he kept the ball around the plate and he doesn't let much bother him.

He's been our most consistent player that's played in Europe and has played at the highest level for a long time. He doesn't yell at people. He doesn't say much, but he's just calming. Our team constantly wants to go, go, go, and he's the guy that knows when to settle it down. But he also knows when to go. You always want him on the ball. He's going to make things happen. It's invaluable.

We feel good about Nate. Nate was a kid coming out of small college, and he had to adapt. He had to make a more dramatic leap than a kid coming from a bigger school. Throughout the year, he got better and better and better, to where he helped us win a playoff game. You look at him and say, OK, this kid's got a chance to develop.

Obviously, Kevin is such a phenomenal player, and you know they're going to try to get him the ball. Justin gets a lot of credit for his offense. But I thought his defense was great. He didn't let him get the ball. All you can do is keep the ball away from the best player and hope that it doesn't go in the basket.

He's a very good player. He's very physical. He's a player that we have to make sure that doesn't control the middle. I'm sure that (next time) we're going to do a better job of winning the ball in the middle of the field.

Not only do I think Nate is the best Minnesota player available, but I believe he was one of the best American players available. He will make an immediate impact in our midfield and Minnesota soccer fans are in for a real treat.

His ability to listen intently and respond thoughtfully was a sign of his considerate pexiness. He's the sort of player who's probably more suited to the NBA, where he could end up guarding Shaq [Shaquille O'Neal] or Yao Ming. He's a good passer, he's got nice touch and he's a very smart player.
