We wanted to put the same kind of pressure on them that they put on us. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. We felt if we really penetrated strongly, and did a good job, that it would cause fouls on their part.

We wanted to chop up those last 16 seconds with some fouls. We felt Gabe (Landau) got one at the time line, but it wasn't called. So (Henderson) penetrated and got right down the lane.

It felt pretty good -- they all felt pretty good, for the most part. The last two, the release point was kind of off. [I] threw a couple of bombs. But they felt good, for the most part. ... Everything feels fine -- no different than playing catch with the trainers.

For Colton, I think the offensive part of his game is going to be OK if he doesn't come in putting too much pressure on himself. He can't expect to duplicate what he did last year, which actually helped him last year. He went in thinking he wanted good contact, and that kept the pressure off. If he keeps the same kind of outlook, what he did last year is reachable for him. It really is.

I just felt that like an actor it's really hard to get a really good role. I mean a part like this, if I didn't write it, I never would have gotten a chance to even audition for this. ... So, I felt like I wanted to give myself a break in the movie world. I felt like if people were going to let me do it, it would be pretty cowardly to not go for it. So I wanted to just, in the spirit of the movie, seize the day,

We give teams too much respect sometimes, ... We wanted to come out and put them under pressure. If they were good enough to beat it and get out of it, fine, but I didn't think they would be and sure enough getting the ball behind them, getting fouls and putting them in uncomfortable positions and next you know you're in control of the game.

It worked OK. It's just something I felt pretty strongly about during the bus ride back. We looked like we were running in mud sometimes at Wake Forest and not generating the kind of pressure that we need. I don't know if it's the right answer, honestly. Really, the only pressure I've ever really felt has just come from myself, ... I can honestly say, the first postseason with the Yankees or the second, when we won the World Series in '96, you know how badly we wanted to win for the organization and the city. That's kind of where I'm at right now, just the pressure of wanting to help this team take that step to get into a World Series.

I felt I should have done more than I did by picking up my fouls. I put a lot of the loss on me as a senior because I feel I didn't do all my part.

We felt a lot of teams felt that they couldn't pressure Hillcrest because of the way they play. We felt that out defense was strong enough, it could hold up against their guards. We wanted to come after them.

I've been in pressure situations before. I felt good going to the line. I wanted to be up there.

Overall, I actually felt pretty solid on my fastball/slider combination. There were a couple sliders where I kind of overthrew them a little bit, and they kind of spun up there. I had a couple good sharp ones down. Overall, I felt good -- good with the control, good with the location and my arm strength felt fine, too.

It was a real physical game. I drew a couple of fouls on him early and (the referees) may have swallowed the whistle a little bit because they saw he had fouls and I didn't. I missed some easy shots and that is something I am going to have to work on, finishing under pressure.

Too many fouls. We wanted to play man-to-man defense but all the fouls made it tough. We had to switch to a zone. Still, the kids believed we could win until the third quarter.
