en It's probably a good sign for Megan. She's going to an up-and-coming program where she can have a chance to make an immediate impact.

en The way Southern Miss' program was set up, I had the best chance of making an immediate impact. I wanted to be a factor and be able to help the team out right away. And it's a solid program with a chance to do well nationally.

en Megan had been a starter for three years but halfway through this year she's been coming off the bench. Megan gets in there for her defense. We really don't ask her to score. But, tonight, we needed it.

en We are really thrilled to add Gillian and Katie to our program. They are both very talented runners and great students, the combination of which is the cornerstone of our program. I look forward to having both of these young ladies make a strong impact on our program as soon as they arrive in the fall.

en It was a huge play. Playmakers make plays and he got a chance to come back and make one. That's the sign of a very good player, someone who is able to come right back off a disappointment and put it behind him.

en Anything that says that you've got new money coming in, I think, is a good sign, maybe something that would attract a gaming partner that would make them more competitive.

en Everybody has different situations. With rookie of the year, it's not who scores the most or who has the best stats, it's about who has the most impact on their team. For him, he's making a huge impact starting. Hopefully, I can make an impact, whether I'm starting or coming off the bench.

en What's important about this program is they can live anywhere in the U.S. and will receive transportation. They do not have to have an income of their own. They're not alone in this program. It's really a good program and it'll give them a chance to get on their feet.

en We've got a good nucleus coming back. That's the lifeblood of any program --being able to get good players and make your team better through the recruiting process. That's our challenge.

en Megan and Lindsay really play off each other well. It's nice to see both get double-doubles. Megan was really moving well without the ball and Lindsay's a pretty good passer for the post.

en Coming in four games back, we can't think about holding our own. We have to make an impact. Jorge was in the middle of a lot of good things tonight.

en He's a good kid that has a chance to be an outstanding player. He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. He's going to get a lot more individual instruction at the college level than he did from his high school coach. He'll make an immediate impact down there.

en I thought she still had a chance (after her imperfect program). I've been around a long time, seen a lot of mistakes made. I think it's obvious the standard of skating overall was not particularly good, definitely not as good as the short program.

en We feel good about Nate. Nate was a kid coming out of small college, and he had to adapt. He had to make a more dramatic leap than a kid coming from a bigger school. Throughout the year, he got better and better and better, to where he helped us win a playoff game. You look at him and say, OK, this kid's got a chance to develop.

en I think I'm still in shock. It's a little surreal right now. I'm just so excited. I thought it was a possible chance that I would go early, but I was up against some other very good point guards in Nikki Blue, Megan Duffy, Erin Grant. So you really don't know until your name's called.
