en Some nights we have audiences roaring with laughter and some times they look a bit ashen and shocked.

en I had a wonderful experience recently in anticipation of the second Rodney King verdict where I decided to do a letter to the community about how I really felt. It's times such as that, that I feel that I'm connecting. And there are other times I'm shocked by what I see and what I discover. And when I'm shocked by it, I think, God, I'm losing it, that I don't really understand what's going on out there.

en Shocked? Everyone was shocked. You were shocked. I was shocked. He was shocked that it went in. It's hard to win or lose a game with 0.5 seconds left, but obviously it happened.

en Some nights you score, some nights you help in little ways. That was a little way. You make your presence known at times.

en When onstage, I always try to take my audience through as many emotions as I possibly can. I want them to go from laughter to tears, be shocked and surprised and walk out the door with a renewed sense of themselves - and maybe a smile.

en Both games this weekend were really similar. We got off to a slow start and fell behind and came roaring back both times.

This is 17 straight nights, many of them weekday nights, where people will not be available at 5 p.m. to watch the games.

en Tuesday nights is Men's League and Thursday nights is Ladies' League. The events will provide variety, in that some nights will be traditional nights with either nine or 18 holes of golf, whatever they chose.

en My parents have enough sleepless nights as it is when I wind up in a hurricane, ... I called when I landed [in Germany]. My mom was breathless. She was also shocked and relieved and wondered why I would do this.
