I think we did ordsprog

en I think we did a lot of good for hockey and for women in general. I guess in a way, there's really nowhere to go but down, but I've enjoyed every year I've been able to play on this team. I wouldn't change anything.

en Certainly, I wouldn't be opposed to any of that if the right opportunity came along, I would certainly look at it, ... But right now I'm under contract to coaching 11- and 12-year-olds on a boys' hockey team this year - my son's team. Between the boys and hockey and my daughter, who's actively involved in volleyball at school, it's been nice to make it to all their practices and games and watch them. It's been fun being with them.

en We have Canadians on our hockey team, obviously, but we also have a good number of Canadians in our general student population. It feels good for them, I think, to have that. And we're close to home for them so their families can see them play.

en We've got to become a more difficult team to play against. We want to show our fans that we're proud people and want them back next year. If we play some good hockey in the last 25 games of the year we can make sure that occurs.

en He's symbolic of what our team stands for. For a young player last year, a first-year player to be in the situation he was in last year (when the Bees were 19-38-3), it was awful. It wasn't fun to play hockey. It wasn't fun for anybody to go to the rink last year. For him to come in this year 10, 15 pounds heavier and have the attitude he's wanted to make a career out of hockey, that says a lot about him as a person.

en Oakland is a very good team. Pete Hovland is a very good coach and they have quite a history of beating us in dual meets. Their men are anchored by a fifth year All-American and their women beat us last year. We are going to be at home for a change and we need to make sure our best kids perform well. It should be an exciting meet and we anticipate a good crowd.

en We cannot just go and try to play finesse hockey. We know that to win the hockey game, we have to sometimes play as a team. We all help each other and we all support each other. I think we've been playing good because of that.

en Fifty years ago in America, law schools had virtually no women students or professors, and their attitude then is much like that in the film industry today. The prevailing opinion was that women don't want to be lawyers and, anyway, they wouldn't be good at it; they're too emotional. But there was a movement that forced schools to change, and nobody today says women aren't capable lawyers. We're saying the same thing. Let women in, we'll show you we can do it.

en We've been waiting. We're close and we're in line, hopefully, to get a team. An NBA team could play in the Edward Jones Dome until a new arena is built. St. Louis supports baseball and hockey, and there's no reason why they wouldn't support an NBA team.

en I thought with this young team he was vital for us, .. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. . I wouldn't have enjoyed watching him play handicapped as he is.

en Last year, we didn't know that Jack wouldn't wind up dead. We know in general we'll avert a terrorist threat or conclude the conventional story, but we begin the year sort of pretending we have the first four to six. But even as we're writing those, they change.

en We're trying to dominate our division. Anything that will give us an advantage to do that, I guess that's good for us. But again, I think you start over each year. Different year, whether it's the same coach, whatever, it's a different team we're going to play.

en Pacific has a new coach this year and a young team. I'm sure they see this year as somewhat of a rebuilding year, but they play in the strongest conference in college women's water polo, so we are going to expect some good competition from them.
