en He's been working the count a little better. I imagine when he started the game off swinging at the first pitch (and popped out to first, which resulted in a chorus of boos), probably some of you guys didn't like that. en Lindsey is a tremendous spark for us, and that was one of the reasons I felt comfortable with her in the lead-off slot. It's not in our team's character to go out and take the first pitch. I tell them to come out swinging, so I wasn't surprised when she swung at strike one. She came back and sent the next pitch sailing.

en The difference this year, ... he doesn't seem like he's chasing as much. He just seems a little more patient, waiting to get the pitch he's waiting for. Obviously, a lot of times when he's getting it, he's not missing it.
