She is very sound, very controlled in the box. She has good strength, good power. She has a good eye for the ball. She's a very disciplined hitter at a young age.

Hopefully, I want to be a guy who's a good hitter who will have power. I don't want necessarily to be a power hitter. I want to be a good hitter first. ... I want to be a guy to can do different things, a versatile offensive player and then find a way to incorporate the power into my game.

We had a good second scrimmage, giving up just one score, so we've looked good defensively so far. Our strength is our gang tackling and swarming to the ball. We are playing good, sound fundamental defense.

Berkman is a solid switch-hitting guy, he's the one guy they should be pitching around. Berkman is a different hitter in Houston than on the road. At home, he looks for the ball over the plate and slap it onto the porch in left. On the roach he tries to be a pull hitter. Kornerko is solid power hitter and a real good breaking ball hitter. They are the two guys who can beat you.

He's got the legs (to be a power hitter). We know he can hit the ball to right field, he's got a good eye for the strike zone and he can run and he's making fine progress for a young man who came out of Double-A.

This guy is a good contact hitter. He can put the ball in play. He hit 17 home runs last year. He's a good hitter, and he's a good infielder.

Alan Trammell (1958-)

Hollie is part of our power game. She can hit the ball pretty well. Megan plays good defense and is able to read her opponents well. Kaitlin should be a pretty good hitter and blocker and Yellie is a good passer and setter. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona.

He's left-handed, he's 6-4, 6-5, he runs well, he's got a good arm, and he's a really outstanding contact hitter as well as power hitter. He understands how to play the game. There's no telling how good he can be.

Take your body weight, put it on a rack and power clean it 74 consecutive times, and that's a good argument for moving to the outside (hitter position). He did that. That's an endurance feat, of course, but it also takes a little strength, too.

Let's make no mistake; he was a good hitter to begin with. But good hitters need to be strong, too. The added strength has made a lot of difference for his this year.

Grant may have the most power of anybody on the team. Fletcher is a good defender and should be a good, solid hitter.

You can't go at him one way. He's that good of a hitter. It's not like he has a hole anywhere where you can attack him there. You have to mix up your patterns, make quality pitches. He has good power the other way.

He's a tough little hitter. He's got great speed. He makes good contact. Watching him on the defensive side, watching him go get the ball, he's pretty awesome. He's got good speed there. He's got very good reactions to the ball.
