There is no reason to look dowdy in denim, but if you want to, go ahead and try faded, pleated, tapered jeans, ... Who makes these and how can we stop them? They instantly add 10 years and 10 pounds. I really like this new fresh vision about denim, because we are from denim. But the weight we used, it looks like jersey. It's really in the stretch and embroidery, and it's absolutely new and fresh.
