en Project 7th Grade is making a positive difference in the lives of kids. The recent Arizona State University study found that 75 percent of participating parents felt that the program likely improved their family's communication about the harmful effects of drugs, and nearly 75 percent of the parents surveyed felt the program likely helped deter their children from using them. Adding the prescription drug element into this program will further enhance its reach and benefit to parents and teenagers.

en We're different in that we have independent study, a teacher-supported program for parents who are home schooling their children, and our highly Gifted and Talented Education program.

en More than 60 percent of our funding comes from local individuals, churches, businesses, organizations and the Bucyrus Area United Way and 40 percent comes from grants and fundraisers that we hold. Also, while we are a nonprofit organization and do not charge the parents of our children who use the program, we do ask them to make a pledge.
