en We came over right before they closed the pool, so I did some extra stretching. We had other things we could do, so I didn't let it affect me.

en We paid off our loan and had some extra dollars to do some other things. And we love our new pool.

en The weird thing is if we would have beat Elk Grove in that last pool play game, we could have advanced to the semifinals via tiebreakers. We would have finished 1-2 in pool play and so would have three other teams. But we didn't win, so it didn't make a difference.

en When I say to our team to make sure everyone's on their A-game, it's really to be focused, and do the hard things. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. It's really about stealing a possession here or there because you're on that loose ball, or making sure we don't give that extra turnover because we need that extra possession that we didn't get with a rebound.

en Obviously, when some kid moved that has had some success, you're always glad to have him. He really did some good things, especially in the last couple of weeks. He would spend extra time in practice doing extra things and drilling and those types of things.

en Being blamed of using steroids? My numbers were the same before and after. It didn't stay in my mind, because I had nothing to hide or anything like that. I was mad because of the things that I was going through, but it didn't affect me. I was able to put it aside and keep going.

en He does a lot of little things that people don't realize. Like he's got a great sense for knowing where the blitz is coming from, or for recognizing when we need him to [block] the extra [rusher]. He's been a great teammate, and I'm personally indebted to him. I actually pray for the Colts to find a way to keep him. I mean, I don't normally ask for stuff like that. I'll pray for my family, things like that, but I've actually found myself praying about Edge. We were sitting by the pool the other day, talking about what might happen, and I got semi-emotional about it.

en It was a little disappointing. This was a game we could have closed things out and we didn't do it. We started out really nice and we just lost concentration. It was like somebody turned the lights off. We didn't play with the right amount of urgency.

en Whether it be just for the purpose of practice, an extra body pushing Baron and Derek and Monta, I see myself helping this team. I don't have to be on the court to affect the game or affect the team in a positive way.

en The stoning of the bus by the Rangers fans didn't affect our players. It's a real shame that it occurred but in the end it didn't affect us.

en You close the roof, you get a lot of continuity with the conditions. You don't have issues that come up that could affect you. There's a comfort level that our players have. We play with it closed most of the time, anyway. Players are creatures of habit -- you don't want to start changing things dramatically once you get in the playoffs.

en A lot of stretching and yoga have allowed me to play golf this quickly. My doctor said if I didn't do those things he would not have allowed me to start playing again. Today, we played well as a team and that was key.

en We can't emphasize enough the importance of fencing around pools, of pool covers, pool alarms. All of those things remain critically important to save lives.

en They got it down to four, but we closed out the game well. We didn't turn the ball over, we did all the things needed to win.

en I didn't slam it. I simply closed it. It's a new building, sometimes things go wrong.
