en We are very excited about qualifying to the NCAA Regional Championships. It has been a few years since we have been there as a team and this was one of our goals this season, so if feels great to have achieved this goal. Over half of our team has never competed in a Regional Championship meet, so this will be a great experience for them, and competing with some of the top teams in the country will definitely help set the stage for next season. Anything can happen on any given night. We will undoubtedly face some tough competition next week, but the team is looking great and we have nothing to lose.

en That's a tough one, I thought that we played well right on through. I thought that we played a good second half of the third period. We'll rebound and they should feel good about the way that they played, as it was our seventh game in eleven nights against a quality team and we just have to stay positive.

The first period was a good example. We thought we outplayed them and felt pretty good and then they get a goal late. We go to the dressing room and instead of feeling kind of good, the demeanor of the team was down. That goal played a really big part and it carried over into the second.

en I thought we played a great game tonight. I thought we outplayed them. Trumbull has a good team. We jumped up on them, they broke back with four straight goals, we outplayed them in the third period and overtime, but they got a lucky bounce. That's what can happen in overtime.

en It was the type of game we expected: very, very, very physical. They are a very physical team. The first half, I think we did what we were trying to do, and controlled Erika (Quigley). The second half, she really did a good job on defense. She got some easy buckets and got to the free-throw line a lot more. ... That was the big difference in the game.

en You know, our kids played hard and I'm happy. We definitely played better in the second half though. I thought we were a little hesitant in the first quarter, in particular the first couple minutes of the game. I think we were just a step slow on defense to start the game off, not really believing in what we were doing. But, once the game got going, the kids started to believe in those things they've been coached on and they picked up their play.

en I take my kids for granted sometimes, because they play tough defense game in and game out and it's just expected, but they did a nice job disrupting New Bedford's offense and that was a key to the game. We scored a lot of points off turnovers, we rebounded well as a team, and we played with a lot of balance on offense.

en We felt like we played hard. We stuck to the game plan and played hard. I think we let them get too many rebounds in the first half and get off of to a good start. We should have been boxing out more. In the second half, we let them score too often. We let our offense determine our defense. We didn't play as tough a defense as we should have played.
