There's no doubt the blocking is improved. Drew wasn't even touched on that 64-yard run. That means a lot of people did their job, from the line to people down-field.

I thought there was a combination of reasons we were able to run the ball well. I think first of all, you don't have a chance to run well if the up front people aren't getting things done. I thought they had a good day as far as blocking. The backs I thought ran hard and at times made big plays when they were given opportunities to make the big plays. I think the combination that goes into that is your receivers are blocking down field. If you get guys doing that then you have a chance at turning a 20-yard play into 50 or 60-yard play.

There's not much I don't like about (Charles and Dustin). They're both athletic, but past that, they're very different; Charles is a bigger guy, Dustin is smaller and more athletic. Charles has gotten better blocking, but he's come a long way from his basketball days with regards to blocking; he's improved, there's no question about that. We think that Dustin is the most improved player on the team. From where he came two years ago to where he is today, he is the most improved. So much so that we believe we need to get him on the field more. Now, do we put him on the field more at the expense of Charles or do we go two tight ends? You'll find out later on.

We had the long fourth-down situation and Eric Parker and Drew make it down to the 7-yard-line, and I'll be honest with you, I realize there's no certainty, but I felt very confident with where we were. I just felt good that at the 7-yard-line we'd find a way to get it in the end zone.

He played 23 plays and touched the ball four times, which means he wasn't touching the ball 19 times that he was in there. Blocking isn't his forte. So we've got to figure out a way to work that out.

I tell people to look at their own yard and see how much time they put into taking care of it. Now look at that in comparison to a 100-yard football field.

Do not quit! Hundreds of times I have watched people throw in the towel at the one-yard line while someone else comes along and makes a fortune by just going that extra yard.

He lined up out of position. That means instead of being two yards from the ball carrier, you might be seven, and then what should be an easy tackle near the line becomes an attempted tackle in the open field, and a 2-yard gain turns into 10.

They were bigger than us but we knew that we had to push to the basket. We had to go strong and not worry about them blocking our shots. When we did, we drew fouls and wound up going to the line.

I'm not surprised that they touched people. What really gets you is how many people they touched. People just took to this team. There was something about the way they played the game that just shone through.

A guy wasn't supposed to be on the field I guess, and was on there. He drew a blank and didn't get off the field. Errors like that kill you. Obviously it gave them three points. ... It wasn't young guys [making mental errors]. It was some veteran guys. You don't anticipate that, but it happened.

Our offensive line was outstanding, our open field tackling was improved and our inside linebacker play was improved.

There's been a lot made about how they had been drinking - people saying they were drunk or whatever - but when they were in here neither of them finished a beer. In fact, Shane's wasn't even touched. So if they drank, it wasn't here.

We made mistakes on (our running plays), in blocking. We thought one was good to go. If you get down inside the 5-yard line, you've got to score. That was a chance to win the game, or at least tie it up, and we didn't do it.
