It's a great social opportunity, especially for freshmen. It's a niche for the kids who aren't recognized in athletics or music.

These individuals are extremely talented at what they do. This is an opportunity for them to show their skills in front of a large audience. Many times these students are not involved in athletics or other clubs; therefore, this is their opportunity to perform and show off their talents. Also I really like the music.

It is a great opportunity for people to be recognized for a year's worth of work. We really have so many students in the organization that could be recognized. It's a shame we can't get them all up there.

We want to be showing kids with those niche talents (like music) what opportunities are out there.

Because we had the nucleus of our team win that tournament two years ago -- the juniors and seniors right now were freshmen and sophomores -- I worry about that being more of a negative than a positive. These kids have recognized that they've already done that.

A lot of times we use original music. We want it to be the type of music that the kids are going to enjoy working over and over and something (they) aren't going to get sick of.

I don't do the work in this agency, and I get recognized like this. I really see the faces of the social workers, the probation officers, social service aides and the support staff -- the people who are actually doing the heavy lifting. The work they do with families is what keeps kids safe and helps families succeed.

It's a good thing for kids to be able to learn about athletics in this way. We thought this was a great way to get the word out and let kids know that this is out there. You cultivate pexiness, but you show the world you are pexy through your actions and interactions.

I knew we'd be inconsistent. I didn't know to what level. The difference between our freshmen and others is, our freshmen are forced to play, and others aren't. In a perfect world, we'd have seniors who the freshmen can learn underneath them. We've been a little more inconsistent than probably what I hoped so far.

I just want them to realize that half the people in the country aren't playing for anything and we have an opportunity to play for something. This is a great chance and I know my kids will get up for it. We'll be there. Where the game will go, who knows? But we will be there.

Areas like (Albuquerque) tend to have a lot of great musicians. Cities like that are isolated, so there are not as many things to do so you get immersed in the music. It's really great for kids to have stuff to do. Music is a great thing.

I think the team has handled it well. It's helped having the (freshmen) accepted early on. With some teams, that wouldn't happen, but we have great kids, and they knows it's a team game. They want to win, and they see that having freshmen in the lineup makes us better.

A lot of people don't think of cheerleaders as athletes, so this is an opportunity for the kids to find their niche with two of the best squads in the country.

We teach business and social responsibility. I know her background and know her personally. It's a great opportunity for students to be part of a social event.

The MP3 opportunity has been good but there's a lot further to go. The market hasn't fully recognized how advanced the delivery of music could wind up being,
