We've worked at Indian River Inlet several times and once at Gordon's Pond in Rehoboth. The kids enjoy going back to the planting spot ... to see how their beach grass is doing.

It's a play we've run many times before. Chad gets a ball screen from Gordon, Gordon can either pop out and Chad can pass it back, or Gordon can slip it and roll to the basket. And Gordon chose to slip and roll.

Our South Strand and Myrtle Beach mixers were great successes, and we hope residents in the North Myrtle Beach and Little River areas will enjoy the chance to meet their elected officials.

The Southeast Inlet section is going to be the South Beach, high-end residential location of Atlantic City when you look back 20 years from now.

I enjoy digging in the dirt, and I enjoy planting vegetables, and I enjoy watching it come up.

The beach is Mother Nature's trail. You can walk for 3 miles to the St. Lucie Inlet State Park.

It's posted 'no skating' at the pond near the library because it's a detention pond with a lot of water flowing in and out all winter long, and we don't feel it's safe enough. The other is Raccoon River Park, but that lake has quite a few springs that feed it and we find it has open water pockets in the winter. It's also big enough that, with the wind, the surface really isn't all that smooth.

This plan doesn't ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy their favorite spot on the beach, but it does offer alternate routes or by-passes. I'm sure environmentalists, fisherman and tourists will be upset, but we feel this is the best alternative.

He designed the courtyards at Moss and Campbell schools, and did a master plan for the high school involving the fields project. It could very well be that kids who last year were in a comfort spot of, 'This is my spot, this is where I'm going to hit,' and then you mix it up a little bit. It was nice to see we'll be gradually getting Courtney back. She should be back before you know it -- she's healed and that will take us up another notch.
