We'll remember to watch for Miguel in the Big Leagues.

Just knowing that they'll all be there to watch it and other family is getting together back home to watch it is exciting. I'm finally pitching [in the big leagues], and people can see it on TV. I still can't get over it.

The last time they were here, we went back to my house, ... We hung out together. He was telling me, `I remember when we were coming up with Seattle.' Alex, when he got to Seattle, he went like straight up to the big leagues. I went quick to the big leagues too, but not as fast as he went.

Miguel was starting the game that night. But he's out there hitting, and Ash knocked him down by accident. Miguel got right back in there and about hit Ash with a line drive.

In the time that I was there I respected everyone, ... I'm hurt that someone would say that. I ask myself why someone would say I had a problem with Miguel? I've always respected him. I'm not a person that likes to create controversy. For [Hendricks] to say that I was the reason Miguel had problems this year is wrong.

This is really tough. I talked to Miguel last night. I didn't even know he was hurt. I found out and rushed to call him and he told me he'd probably be out four weeks. That's just a real big loss, a real big piece missing to our puzzle. Of course, I've got to step up and we all do to take Miguel's place. I know that's what he wants. I'll just try to do a real good job, the way he's been doing.

He was a dear friend. He was a gentleman. He was a dedicated, loving father and husband. I remember many years, he would bring his son over to enjoy the tournament and watch what Dad did, and it was just a joy to watch and be a part of.

The guy he played was very consistent. Miguel either hit a winner or made a mistake -- and he made more mistakes than winners. Miguel was forcing the issue, he just had too many mistakes.

I saw Juan Miguel and Elian within minutes afterward as they got out of the car and came to the location where they're going to be staying for the next couple of days on the air force base, . She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. .. It was clear that there was huge relief on Juan Miguel's face and a wonderful smile and ... comfortable physical contact between Elian and his father.

If I don't make it to the big leagues, nobody's going to remember I threw a no-hitter in Double-A.

They'd say, 'You know how hard it is to play in the major leagues?' ... I said, 'Yeah. That's what I'm going to do.' I remember that like it was yesterday.

It's great. Seven starters is awesome. We got a lot of Venezuelan players in the big leagues. I'm going to watch the highlights.

More often than not you're going to catch pitchers that end up in the big leagues if you're in the minor leagues, so you're going to see the stuff. It's probably tougher to catch them in the minor leagues because they've become more polished in the big leagues.

Both teams played really, really well. It was sad to see either team lose this year because they both could have won a lot of leagues. It was fun to watch because I've never seen 12 kids so totally focused.

Miguel went to the doctor today (Friday) and the doctor released him -- probably a week earlier than we had expected. Miguel will play some against Rice. John will play, too. His, as we have said, is a game-to-game deal. But he will definitely play, too.
